Erectile dysfunction is a men health condition characterized by inability to sustain an erection. Sometimes this is not a big issue as erection is highly affected by moods and stress in a man. However, it can raise an alarm if the condition goes beyond control that is if it happens regularly. Mans ability to perform the sexual act is among the crucial factors used to describe a man, it is hence important to look out for this health condition. Erectile dysfunction is commonly caused by psychological issues this may include some fear, anxiety or low emotional attachment towards the sexual partner. Erection starts in the brain, it is also the responsibility of the brain to maintain an erection. Any condition that is affecting the normal working of the brain will definitely affect erection this factors include but not limited to depression and mental issues.

Even though this condition sounds strange it can be avoided and treated. Some ways to prevent this condition include but not limited to the following:

  • Regularly exercising to facilitate blood flow and reduce stress.

Avoiding substance abuse or controlled intake of alcohol can help to reduce the dysfunction. If the conditions gets out of hand, One should also get to  a professional doctor for regular check up to secure the sexual life. It would be advisable to communicate the condition with the respective sexual partner. Talking will reduce anxiety and improve brain condition for better sexual performance.
